Southgate Media Group’s Podcast Marathon is a live event being held at Indianapolis Convention Center as part of Indy PopCon, 2018. The event will be 10 hours long featuring original content consisting of 20+ podcasts performed live from 9am to 7pm.
On June 8th, we're holding our 4th Podcast Marathon live at Indy Pop Con in Indianapolis, IN. Indy Pop Con is a great pop-culture convention expecting over 30,000 attendees this year. We’re hosting the marathon in a room that will hold 350 fans. A lot of great indie podcasters will be there (thanks to the marathon and the podcast awards happening there that night), and we're offering the opportunity to help us offset some of the costs of our marathon.

The many benefits of sponsoring the marathon:
· Room size and attendance – 30,000 expected attendees, and a room that can seat 350 people means a lot of eyes on your logo. We’ve more than filled this same room at a smaller convention at the Indiana Convention Center in the past.
· Marathon hours – The marathon runs for 10 hours, from 9AM to 7PM, with over 20 different indie podcasts represented.
· Banners all weekend – The convention runs all weekend, so on Saturday and Sunday we’ll be moving the large retractable banners to a spot in the hallway by the entrance where we’ll have a live podcast running open to close and the other will be in the exhibit hall at our booth
· 5th year of Indy Pop Con – 2018 will be Indy Pop Con’s 5th year and they’ve consistently shown a lot of love to podcasts, including the podcast awards that start after the marathon. The podcast audience should be enthusiastic and attendees are more likely to know about podcasting in general.
· Lots of ways to sponsor – While the two big banners are the center-pieces, we have many ways to sponsor at different levels that will fit most budgets.
