Did everyone enjoy this week’s episode of Gotham? Viper. I loved it. They showed Viper to be the early version of Venom. What’s Venom? Let me enlighten you. The drug Venom first appeared in Legends of the Dark Knight #16-20 (March-July 1991). In this story (also titled Venom), We see a Batman in the beginning of his career, as most of the Legends stories portrayed.

Continuing the theme of characters from the TV show Gotham, this week I’ll explore the life of Oswald Cobblepot (The Penguin). The Penguin’s first appearance was in Detective Comics #58 (December 1941). Storylines that chronicled his childhood showed Oswald Cobblepot to by a short, chubby young boy with a big nose that was constantly harassed by the neighborhood bullies.
Catwoman (Selina Kyle) - Female Robin Hood or Robbing the hood?
This week I’ll be continuing the Gotham series with a look at Catwoman. The character first appeared in Batman #1 (1940) and was only known as “the Cat” in that first story. She appears again in Batman #2 and #3, not wearing any of her famous cat costumes, but already the classic character, intriguing (attracting) Batman.
