This year is the 11th Lake County Film Festival in Grayslake, IL. It will be held in-person November 4-15 and online November 10-29. The slate of in-competition short films competing for Jury and Audience Awards consists of at least 91 shorts.
The College of Lake County’s Grayslake campus will play all short films multiple times, providing a number of opportunities to catch a wide array of short films. Many selections will also screen at Three Brothers Theatre in Waukegan
Some shorts will play in front of feature films, while others will be divided into 15 different programs arranged by genres, topics, and themes.
Additionally, two classes will be offered for free: “Masterclass on Microbudget Filmmaking with Michael Glover Smith” and “Churning Out Content with Professional YouTube Creative Jake Jarvi”.
